Our History
Compassionate Hearts Touws River was founded in August 2020 by Dalene van der Merwe and Rashaad Baker, to uplift and restore Dignity to Community of Touws River, especially the elderly, disabled and the children.
Our mission
At Compassionate Hearts Touws River, our mission is to uplift and restore dignity within the Community of Touws River. We are dedicated to creating a thriving and compassionate community where every individual, especially the elderly, disabled, and children, can experience a renewed sense of worth and belonging. Through collaborative efforts, innovative programs, and unwavering support, we aim to:
Empower Vulnerable Groups: We commit ourselves to empowering the elderly, disabled, and children by providing them with resources, opportunities, and a safe space to express themselves, fostering their personal growth and resilience.
Foster Inclusivity and Connection: We strive to break down social barriers and build bridges that connect the diverse members of our community. Through events, workshops, and initiatives, we promote inclusivity, dialogue, and a shared sense of purpose.
Provide Holistic Care: Our mission encompasses not only physical well-being but also emotional, mental, and social health. We work to address the holistic needs of our community members, ensuring that they receive comprehensive care and support.
